Tell us about your new music.

It’s dark, electric, and alternative. Visually and conceptually, I’m inspired by all things horror. This is my best project yet, and I’ll be sneaking in some unreleased bangers in the upcoming shows (including exotic fruits 6/22 and Opening for Ha Vay 6/24). Stay tuned for next year…

How did you get started in the music industry, and what inspired you to pursue a career in music?

I’ve always been involved in music since I was a toddler, ranging from piano recitals or school choir. My vocal teacher suggested for me to write songs to add to my old YouTube channel. That’s when I got noticed by my first manager at age 12. Being on a stage was always the goal.

What inspired you to be part OUTLOUD?

I need to perform for my people the way the legends inspired me to do so as well. It’s important to invite people to a safe area to be their most authentic self. I never grew up in an area safe enough to express my queerness (aside from my parents).

How do you want to make an impact through your art?

If everyone was brave enough to be weird because of my influence then I feel like that’s a win. Also, I’d love to show that it does get better and I am living proof of that.

Have you faced any challenges or stereotypes as an LGBTQ+ artist in the music industry, and how have you overcome them?

Absolutely. In the beginning, I was performing in a very conservative state and I was labeled as someone who makes music for gay people only. I make music for everyone yet I happen to be fruity. Why do they put you in a box as soon as that happens? We shouldn’t be separated, we should all celebrate love.

Can you share a particular moment in your career that you consider a triumph or milestone?

Moving to California and doing 20 shows my first year living there really made me ecstatic. I finally feel like I’m establishing myself as an upcoming artist. The results are there.

How do you think the music industry can better support and represent LGBTQ+ artists?

Pay us a million dollars so we can go to therapy and tour. I think we deserve it.

Can you describe your creative process when developing new music or albums?

I get outside and reflect on what I’ve been through. Most albums I’m writing are the results of me journaling and learning my brain. I know exactly what I want for my album so I just write a million songs and choose from the 100 sitting in my voice memos.

What has been your favorite project or performance so far, and why?

My favorite project is the album that’s not out yet. It has such a clear story to it and I’m OBSESSED.

What advice would you give to other aspiring LGBTQ+ musicians looking to make their mark in the industry?

Don’t listen to anyone who doubts you. They just don’t get it yet. Everything takes time and hustle. Your career depends one you.

What are your goals for the future, both in terms of your music career and advocacy within the LGBTQ+ community?

I’m going to grow my own community of fans and make them feel welcome. I want to be a safe space for everyone. What do you want to say to the OUTLOUD and Queer  communities?

What do you want to say to the OUTLOUD and Queer communities?

BE WEIRD AND BE QUEER. Embarrassment literally doesn’t exist. Dress how you want, share your interests, and love who you want.

What other LGBTQ+ artists do you want to give a shout out to?

Shout out to Juliana joy my bisexual red haired queen.
